August 11: What are your favorite Disney characters? How has your work at the park affected your favoritism? (from katleept)
Before I started working at Disney, my favorite characters were Ariel, Mickey, Rapunzel based on the movies and etc.. (there are others, but, we'd be here all day) Since working at the park, and working at attractions with featuring certain characters, or working side by side with some of the meet and greet characters, I've fallen for the characters as they are there. I've argued with an animated Mushu in an attraction, and have come to love Mushu for lovable pain in the ass that he is. Donald has become a favorite thanks to Philharmagic and thanks to Disney Junior and watching the puppetscharacters react to each other and outside sources... Donald and Goofy arguing. Donald and Minnie sorta flirting, with Daisy giving Donald the stink eye.. Oh, I miss my Disney junior gang... And I've never actually watched Jake and the Neverland Pirates, but, thanks to the Meet and Greet characters that we worked with every day, I will always ship Jake and Sofia, and I will always miss Jake the Troublemaker stealing our clicker/counter and adding random extra counts, or trying to get US to go to his M&G area for him, while he'd stay at our Podium and bring guests into the Disney Junior show. And I'm not even going to get into the break room antics of the Star Wars characters... or walking backstage to Doc McStuffins using her stethoscope on a Stormtrooper, while Minnie Mouse hid behind a trash can.... So yeah, working at Disney has changed my perspective of the characters in many good ways. :)
August 12: Name your favorite song right now, and a song that you can not stand to listen to? (from ama_ranth_827)
Hmm.. favorite song as of now? I'm really digging Dear Future Husband by Meghan Trainer at the moment. And also, really anything by Frank Sinatra. And a song that I can't stand to listen to... well, I'm currently working the Frozen Sing A Long, so ALL OF THEM RIGHT NOW, but seriously Disney... Let. It. F#@%$king. Go! When my transfer comes through (Please for the love of all that is holy let it be soon!) I ever want to hear any songs from Frozen ever, ever, again. Especially THAT ONE.
August 13: What are 5 things that make you happy? (from ama_ranth_827)
1: Time for my bumput, time for my bumpout! (In Disney speak, that means it's time for me to GO HOME!)
2: The smiles on kids faces when they see their favorite characters.. seriously, heartmeltingly adorable people! When I worked the Operations side of the Anna and Elsa Meet and Greet (We controlled the lines) and I let a little girl into the Tea Room (Where Anna and Elsa were), this little girl, about 5, started to go into the room, then came running out to me going, "Elsa's in there! Elsa's in there!" I died from the adorable, people. I died.
3: The joy on a Make A Wish kid's face! Always. Again at Princess Fairytale Hall, I had a little Make a Wish boy, who was clearly sick tell me, "I love you for being here." Real Tears, you guys. I cried. I told him that I loved him for being here too. It still makes me choke up.
4: Sharks. Because sharks are awesome.
How can you not love that smile? <3
5. MY JOB (most days..) I mean, I work at Walt Disney World. I get paid to play all day. (Though at the moment it would make me happier to get the hell away from Frozen. Mostly because it is killing my back, but also.. Frozen..)

As a Guest: Probably the first time I went, with Grandma Bee and Grandpa, the summer after my heart surgery. So I was 8 years old and they took me to Disneyland. I don't remember a whole lot about that trip, but I remember Pirates and I remember 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea.
As a Cast Member: My little Make a Wish boy will never not be my favorite memory. Ever.
