The party's over :(
Sitting in the atrium chilling out watching the hotel get emptier and emptier... Monday is always sad because just a few people hang around. Listening to a couple guys talking about Smallville. Getting caught up just listening to them. LOL
Anyway.. the rest of the con.... Saturday night we ended up watching the Wyatt/ Adora edit. suzy_queue seemed to like it. At least she gets the angsty appeal of them. ;) And its still gutwrenching when Wyatt finds Adora's grave. We then watched 2 eps of Glee (so now I have to see the whole thing ... LOL), Melinda's MASH episode, the Whote Collar episode, then we went upstairs and talked for another hour or so ... I think it was close to 3am when we finally went to bed. LOL
Sunday we had a late morning, so we could sleep in. Suzy had a 11am White Collar panel that was a lot of fun, and I don't know the show. But I am certainly going to have to watch this series now. LOL I wrote down a couple fic recs that sounded really good. Going to have to go check them out. :)
Our WENN panel was a 5 and well, it was as usual just us. Though there was a another woman in there, just biding her time, so we talked to her for a bit, then went ahead and left. :( Ah well.
We got registered for next year, so there is going to be a con next year. YAY!! We're already making plans for a WENNtastic weekend. :) We've got a door idea already, going to sign up for the party suite at one point to have a WENN party.. we'll do flyers and what-not. We're going to introduce this show to people if it kills us. LOL
I mean... there's SO much pretty in it... how can people NOT love it? Jeffy, Scott, Hilary, Betty.. there's great pairings, both canon and not. Its certainly ficable! We're even toying with doing an Anonymous kink meme! There's potential fun there!! :-)
Last night I introduced Suzy to Better of Ted. She liked it a lot. :) We also watched another couple eps of Glee. I have now seen the first 4 episodes. Must netflix the series as soon s I can. I hear the first 13 eps are out on DVD. And Suzy has said we cn get me the back 9 eps.
Was another nearly 3am night last night. So now we're hanging out, trying really hard not to fall asleep since we have an early train to hit tomorrow... we want to go to bed early tonight. Thus no naps, so we won't stay up late again tonight. LOL
So, super fun weekend and hopefully next year, we'll have a couple other friends going with us. YAY!!! Is it too early to start counting down to next year's con?? :)
