Saturday ramblings
Went to Kin-Yoobie con yesterday. Was a nice, albeit very small, anime con at a local college in Hayward. It was a bit chaotic at first, they had issues getting things set up, but once they got going, it was nice. dragonscholar did a panel on Fan to Pro, but they had panelists upstairs in a loft area, that was noisy as all get out. No microphones for the panelist, so it was hard to hear. I do hope they arrange this better for next year.
I now have a Death Knight in WoW. She's a death goat. I love the goat peoples. LOL Her name is Decedere, and she's lots of fun.
I have crazily signed up for happy_trekmas . I desperately want to get back into writing, and I hope that by doing a fic fest here and there might help me do that. :)
Also, for those of you who have been following me for years... you will all laugh. I've fallen on the slash train. Yeah, I know I'm eating every word I said... and having catsup with it. I've fallen hard hard hard for TOS Kirk/Spock. Seriously. I'm amusing myself and even wanting to write it. (Better check, the world may be ending soon... LOL) I liked Sparrington, but never really read or wrote... mostly I liked the idea of Sparrington, but with K/S, OMG I'm reading, buying zines, wanting to write... I'm sunk. LOL
I am also amused that the Reboot movie sunk me into TOS fandom, and into K/S for TOS. I still do not see it in the reboot sense, think its just too soon in their knowing each other for me. I'd buy more reboot Kirk/McCoy, honestly.
