Yesterday I had my first "date" with "TangoJim" - the older gentleman I met in my doctor's office last week. He was sitting in the treatment room getting his chemo when I came in for my infusion. The long slog through the woods yesterday was brought to you by the letter "I" - as in "Infused Iron" - and GOSH am I glad I've been going for treatments.  Hemoglobin is a wonderful thing, and its task of delivering oxygen around the body? is probably undervalued, but not by me. YAY HEMOGLOBIN!

First of a ton of IV iron treatments this morning: easy peasy. I was crackin jokes with the other ladies in the infusion room and swappin'  tales of funny goings-on.  Got me a pink rubber bracelet to match theirs, so we're gonna form a club. Cool Kids Only.
