It's beginning to look like the government is going to fall on their disastrous little power games. The opposition parties have drafted a non-confidence vote (which can be introduced in a week after the PM scrambled to clear all votes off the agenda) and there are serious negotiations under way for an unbelievably complex (by our standards) allience: a merged Liberals and NDP team forms a minority government supported by the bloc. But it gets crazier - the bloc has vetoed Dion as leader, so there is talk of going outside parliment for an interm PM until the Liberals have a chance to choose a leader.
So here's the rumour making the rounds in the city tonight (and no, I'm not joking): Prime Minister Ed Broadbent!!
