Faith Grows Out of Ashes

Feb 16, 2007 12:34

Well this essay was about a girl who lost both her parent before even graduating high school... I can't imagine what i would do without my parents... with all the harsh things said and we went through they're family...

now that they've grown accustomed to me being "out", we get along quite alright... they don't ask what they don't want to know and i don't provide more information than necessary... they always want to hear about school and how im going to france for the summer, or how im doing ok and how i own my property but they dont really ask me what im doing on weekends or with who and we're better off that way because otherwise i might kill them with a heart attack...

well anyways back to this essay, i dont know why but ive grown so emotional over the last couple of years anything can set me off to cry like this essay or an episode of SVU, i used to be alot more detached but empathy is something i constantly feel no... the horror!

she discusses how she could relate to the wtc victims feeling as though life would be unbearable without their loved ones... and then they all flocked to churches to help them heal and why not? religion and faith is necessar for some people to get through hard times...

ironically those victimizer also claimed their deeds in the name of god.
