So, on my day off today, Blake and I decide to go on a dinner/movie date, and we go see 300...ugh. We, especially Blake, had high expectations of this movie being fans of Sin City/Frank Miller, and were very disappointed. It was so damn stoic and lacking in any character definition that you just really didn't care when someone died. Visually, it was sweet. Battle-wise, also sweet. Dialogue and characters? Crap. Next week, I think we're going to see Zodiac. We need to go to theaters more often.
Also just finished watching The Departed. Fucked up and good, as I'm sure you all know. I've had to hear so much about this movie from classmates, friends, and the general public that I'm glad I finally saw it. It was pretty good.

It's raining and it sounds nice outside. If I were a less kind person, I'd wake Blake up and make him go out and sit in the rain with me. Dammit. Insomnia strikes back.
