If someone discusses UFOs at a party I consider them to be a person with an interest in UFOs (which, by and large, I find quite boring).
They may be a visionary or they may be bonkers. Why would I make a judgement about thier mental health based only upon the topic of conversation?
So you are asking me whether Unidentified Flying Objects exist? Well of course they do... or did you mean do I believe in Flying Saucers and Aliens from Outer Space? Flying Saucers... possibly. Flying Saucers from Outer Space... probably not. Alien Life Forms... sure why not? I wouldn't expect to see them in my back garden though.
I don't consider myself to be a believer or a skeptic, both of those positions are flawed as they don't allow for objective examination of the available evidence. In my experience both believers and skeptics are equally likely to be insane.
