We arrived at New York today.
Driving into New York City is reminiscent of our experiences years ago when we drove to Paris. There was a jam at the George Washington bridge and we were stuck there for at least 15 mins. There were congestion further up but thankfully, Seong was smart enough to change route and avoid the jam.
We arrived at our apartment at 435W 52nd street.
It is a 2 bedroom apartment, rather small and we had to use the coin operated washer and dryer at the basement. Otherwise, it's a functional apartment.
We went on to explore Central Park since the weather is pretty good today. We still see autumn colours in Central Park.
We actually bumped into celebrities Jennifer Lopez and Vanessa Hudgens, they were filming at Central Park.
Guess who's most excited "P
We had a little rest at the basement of the Plaza Hotel (where Home Alone was shot).
And they played Monopoly.
We walked along fifth Avenue and it was really crowded, considering it's a Monday night.
The two girls just want to point out anything with "Trump".
The Christmas decor at the Sak is really elaborated.
The biggest Christmas tree in New York City.
We had dinner with Seong's colleague Kelvin and his wife, Nicole.
They suggested this Turkish restaurant - Sip Suk. It was not too crowded, great place for a cosy catch up with our friends and food is good too.
We uber back to our apartment after dinner.
