I love Going Out To Eat!
There is this awesome Euro-Asian fusion (primarily seafood) restaurant in Beverly Hills called Crustaceans. As it is a bit of a ritzy ie: pricy restaurant, I've only been there a hand-full of times, and only for special occasions. I just went this past weekend.......the food was just exquisite - as fucking delicious as I remember it. It's a good thing that I don't often have the opportunity to eat crab because, you just can't eat crab anywhere else after eating here. hmmmm just thinking about it makes me remember how amazingly awesome it tasted - a nice, silky garlic flavor, soft shell to crack open....oh my.
So my meal consisted of first an appetizer sampler type plate - beef, dumpling, coconut prawn, and a crab puff (I think that was what it was called. This isn't on the menu, as it was a special of the night.
The Roasted Dungeness Crab in Garlic Sauce and "secrete spices"
The Garlic Noodles and Rice Ho-Fun Ravioli.
I love going out to eat! I wonder how long it will be before I return to this restaurant again.
In the mean time, I have a bit of a craving for seafood restaurants now. However, I'm not sure I would include Red Lobster in this..... it does seam like its the "Denny's" of sea-food restaurants. Not that that's a bad thing just...not the most desired place to go. Come to think of it, I haven't been in years, and I haven't been all that many times.....
