I got beef with society.
I hate money. There should be no reason why people can't go to college if they have the intelligence and the drive to, there should be no reason why some people can't get the help that they need and others can buy things that they don't need at all...people should not have power over other people because they have money, especially if they didn't work for it.
I think I dislike being Catholic. You can't have the 10 Commandments, because there are no moral absolutes. There is always one exception where defying a "moral absolute" can be justified, and half of the Commandments are petty anyway (thou shalt not disobey thy mother and thy father? were you ever a child?). Also, if God forgives and accepts everybody, then how can you say that breaking the a Commandment is wrong, if you're truly sorry for it afterwards? So basically, it's based on a giant paradox. And another thing, for the people who think that homosexuality is a sin - if God accepts everyone, HOMOSEXUALITY ISN'T WRONG. IT DOESN'T MAKE YOU A "SINNER".
It's the right religion for some people...but I don't think it's right for me. Funny thing is, I'm Katie's Confirmation sponsor. Oh well. Don't get me wrong, I believe in God and everything, but there are just huge things about Catholicism that I really dislike. Plus, the history of corruption isn't too appealing, especially with my hatred of money.
AND ON SATURDAY MY PRIEST WAS LIKE "WHEN THE PEOPLE AT TARGET SAY HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU, SAY MERRY CHRISTMAS BACK TO THEM." I say what I want! AND THERE IS NO WAR ON CHRISTMAS.
And I think Fox is sending subliminal racist messages...When I was watching the Patriots/Bucs game, whenever they showed a group of players heads on the screen (to compare stats or something), it was always a group of all white or all black players. Never a mixed group. They did it way too many times (at least 4) for it to be a coincidence.
I hate the man.
