More stuff and nonsense
I went grocery shopping again today, and still managed to forget to buy kitchen sponges. I didn't forget to buy a new blender though. I haven't had a blender in a really long time. I think Brian kept the one that we used to have, and I know I haven't bought one since the divorce. So I picked one up. I also picked up a bag of ice, strawberries, bananas and yogurt. Tomorrow I'm going to have an awesome smoothie for breakfast. This will get me to eat yogurt without vomiting. I freaking hate yogurt. A lot.
I also bought My Life in France, Julia Chilld's memoir. I've been loving Julie and Julia, so I decided to read more about the most awesome tv cook ever. I haven't finished Julie and Julia yet, but I'll have more reading material when I am done, which has been in short supply lately.
My kitchen is still clean, smells slightly of bleach and everything is put away. My living room is now clean, the new desk is in place, as is the new file cabinet. Today I cleaned out the closet and rearranged it a bit, deflated the pool toys and put all of the books away. Then I cleaned the couches and vacuumed. My TA-50 gear is bagged and in the trunk of the car, ready to go back to the vault at the armory and is no longer taking up room in my closet.
In a few minutes I'm going to go grill a chicken breast and boil an egg for a lovely salad. Yum.
