Apartment stuff
Found a place. 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath townhouse with dishwasher and washer/dryer hookups, pets welcome. They're not technically open today, but I talked to the manager this morning. I'll be dropping off the application and $20 application fee in about 10 minutes, and Monday morning I'll fax my paystubs and copy of my driver's license. I'll know by Monday at 3pm whether I get it or not. The girls are okay with sharing a room (I'll be letting them have the master), because there's a pool. There's also a gym. The rent is $755/mo and I can move in as soon as I'm approved. Since I wasn't really into the idea of Thanksgiving anyway, we'll be moving all next week. We'll be across the street from Brian (this is the apt that I first considered when we moved to Anderson), and walking distance to everything. The girls will be able to have more freedom as the speed limit for the major cross street there is 30mph and everyone abides by it because of the school, the one over here (between us and everything) is 40mph and everyone exceeds it.
If I don't qualify it will be because of the bankruptcy from 4 years ago. I'm kind of worried about that. If we don't get this place I'm screwed because I simply will not be able to pay the rent next month. There has been an unexpected decrease in my income (I'm still employed, don't worry) and I just won't be able to cover it. So everyone pray to whatever god you choose, or keep your fingers crossed for me until Monday afternoon. We really need this.
