Holy crap
Oh damn. The new system is an incredible improvement. It took about 15 minutes to set up, and the 17" flat screen is super neat. I have one at work, but it's really a waste since I only ever look at the CASES system which runs in dos, and certain lameass child support and locate websites. I installed a game, and checked an MMORPG that runs on java and wow. Big difference. And the size of the hard drive means that I can actually play the games that I have and not have to delete other stuff to make room. Sims 2 is getting installed sometime in the next week or so. Oh yeah. It also takes up so much less room on my desk, and the speakers are way cuter, and sound a lot better. And the keyboard is super cool and tiny. Tomorrow I'll finish cleaning up. My room is tidied, but the living room still looks like ass.
I spent just a little bit more money today on the AAFES card. I decided that I'm seriously freaking tired of cleaning the litterbox every day and having it sitting out in the middle of the dining room, so I ordered a littermaid. I hope to Bob those things work, and that it will fit in the bathroom. The one we have now has a privacy top and a charcoal filter, and doesn't fit in either bathroom. The cats also like to knock the door off and pull the charcoal filer out and play with it. Or drop it in the box and poop on it. They're charming. Right now they're totally loving my new bed, though, and being pretty sweet, so I can't be too annoyed with them.
