Dammit

Okay, so today didn't go so well in the healthy eating department. Well, I did eat healthy. I just ate... a lot. I followed the plan until 1:30. I ate breakfast, which I don't normally do, a slice of whole wheat toast and jam, a glass of milk, and a banana. Just like Spark said. Lunch was my great salad, and the jell-o. I only drank two cokes today (usually it's 3, sometimes 4), and one of those I'm drinking now. I drank plenty of water, it was all good. They had a fund raiser at work. Our team's former lead worker's granddaughter has lymphoma. She and her little brother are being raised by their dad, on his own. Right now their lives revolve around her treatment, he can't work, and the poor kid is in the midst of chemotherapy. So anyway, they sold slices of pie in the break room at 1:30. chocolate cream pie is one of my greatest weaknesses, and I couldn't resist. So I donated $5 and had a slice of pie. That wasn't too bad, really, it would have had too big of an effect. But when I got off work today I went to the armory and signed my life away again. I will receive a check for $7,500 in a couple of weeks, and next month I'll start drilling at the Redding armory again. I left there at 6pm, and drove home in a torrential downpour. It was actually frightening a few times. Some vehicles had pulled over to wait it out. I got home around 6:45, and I was starving. I've been promising Emma that I'd make asian honey bbq wings, so I did. I love those wings, seriously. So I had 8 of them. I may explode. I ingested more than 2,400 calories today. That is bad. I do not eat like that. But I did. And I would like another chicken wing. But I won't get one. No, I won't. I will go in the kitchen and pile them all into a tupperware, and they will be lunch tomorrow. Well, two of them will be lunch tomorrow, along with a bit of wild rice.
