I need a new car
I think it's about to die for real this time. I spent the night at Deana's last night, and got up at about 8 to come home. I went out, started the car, put it in reverse, and slowly backed out of the parking space. Then I put the car into drive, and nothing happened. It was as if I'd left it in neutral. I went back and forth between drive and overdrive, but still nothing. After a few minutes it started having some forward motion, so I started moving. When I got to the stop sign on the corner it again wouldn't go any further. I put it into low, and it began having forward motion again, and I was able to shift it into drive after I got going, but every time I stopped at a stop sign (there are 5 between Deana's house and mine) it acted like it was in neutral again. I made it home, barely, and parked it. I'm hoping that I won't have this issue in the morning or on Monday. Maybe it was just really cold and I need to let it warm up for 10 minutes or so before I try to go anywhere. I'll try that tomorrow.
