Yesterday I took the kids school clothes shopping. We had fun, even though I despise shopping. They got some really cute stuff, and each a pair of cute tennis shoes, and now I'm broke again. I talked to Brian before we left, and he asked to have the girls come spend the weekend, so after shopping I dropped them off at his place. I realized after we got there that I had left Serra's meds at home, so I'd have to come back. Came home, did the dishes, decided it as too empty to stay here, and went over to Deana's to pick up some stuff. When I got there they had just started watching the director's cut of Alexander, so I stuck around a while to watch it. Holy shit, loooong movie. When Oliver Stone does a director's cut he doesn't fuck around, he just puts everything that ever got cut right back in, I swear. After that I went back to Anderson, and sat and talked with Brian and Emily for an hour or two while all three of the kids played together at the table. It was pretty great.
Brian wants to set up an every other weekend schedule, and sit down and decide on a holiday schedule soon. We'll do that once we find out which school they'll be in, hopefully Monday, as school starts Wednesday. So I have this weekend to catch up on my rest and get stuff don around the house, I'm pretty happy about that. The house is a little too quiet, and I miss the girls, but it's good for them to see their dad n a regular basis, and it's good for me to have time alone.
