It still left Minato torn though since the detective had died at all, but then again, this was Adachi, someone who had no qualms about killing someone.]

[You know, death hadn't been what he expected it to be like. For one, he wouldn't have chosen his first death having hallucinations of Mayumi and Saki taunting him being part of it, but, hey, some things you just can't decide. Still, the mansion must be into divine punishment or something.

Oh, hi there, Minato's voice. Adachi twitches at the sound, but the mask is quickly back as he moves his hand away. Once he finds his communicator, he's giving Minato a well practiced smile.]

[That way of dying was probably one of the least pleasant ways to go. But if the detective gave into it, then the suffering or torture must have been too much to bear.

It might've been Adachi's choice to give in or he had no other choice, but still... it somewhat reminded Minato that the detective might really have been alone during that event. Ah, right, he was a Fool, corrupted and incomplete, but still a Fool. And Fools always did lead lonely lives.]

I'm fine. I can't let a thing like dying get me down, right? Besides, I came back. It's kinda weird waking up again, though... Something doesn't feel right, but I'm probably just imagining it.

[Ever since he'd arrived in Wonderland, he'd been in a constant state of recovery. From his first event's fights with Souji now to the last event. At least the second event he'd been in had a few fun conversations, but that last one? Really, any normal person would be shaken up right now. You know, he probably should be looking a bit more fatigued too...]

I think after a while I stopped paying attention to everyone in there. Sorry. Everyone got through it okay, right?

[Death worked in such a strange way here in that it wasn't permanent. Did that decrease the value of life? But then again, death was an ordinary part of life. It was the manner in which one died and when, that was what worried people more.]

At least you're okay. [Or as okay as anyone would be after coming back from a death like that.] You woke up in your room?

And yes, for the most part. It was a hard event for almost everyone though.
