I’m so glad the partners sent away that Morgan bitch. With her gone that leaves me in charge; well with Lindsey of course. Then again who’s on top doesn’t really matter…out of the bedroom…
I don’t know what’s better about working at Wolfram and Hart, the endless perks you get when you tell someone who you work for, the power or the fact that I get to sleep with that damn fine ass lawyer. I’d have to say I’ve got it good all around. It’s damn good to be me.
Yeah, I might sound cocky but I can, I’ve earned it. Being a liaison to the partners isn’t the easiest job in the world and coming and filling in Lilah’s big ass britches isn’t exactly a cakewalk either.
Because I’m a liaison, an immortal at that, I do have to work harder at some things than others. But it’s worth it in the end. I have more time to wrack up the evil points with the partners and that will work for me in the end.
It’s about power, it’s always about power. Since the beginning of time that’s all it’s been. A power struggle. This is one fight I plan on winning, regardless of who I have to run over to get there.
I sigh and look over the memo that Lindsey had sent to me, so formal and business like. It annoyed me, it’s not like nobody knows, when two people disappear for an hour for ‘lunch’ and then suddenly the copy machine is broken for that same hour and there’s moaning and panting coming from that room people are gonna know. I mean really people, Wolfram and Hart employees might be a bit on the stupid side but they aren’t that stupid.
I started reading the memo. “What the hell?” He wants to what? Is he out of his mind? The partners are going to shit an angel if they find out about this. Apparently Lindsey decided that taking Darla over to Sunnydale to torture the Slayer would be a better plan. Can we say failure? Failure.
Darla was brought back for one reason and one reason only: to torment the living fuck out of Angel, not to play with some goodie goodie slayer. Darla might be and ‘feel’ human but she wasn’t, she was owned by Wolfram and Hart and was to be used at our disposal not to go gallivanting around at any whim.
Then again it was kind of known that Lindsey seemed to have a bleeding heart for Darla. She was living with him, one main reason he always says we’ll go back to my place not his. He took her places and treated her like she’s living a normal life. Treating her like his…girlfriend. Even though we all were well aware of his current…situation…with me. Men, they’re all the same, they need to stop thinking with their dicks and start thinking with their heads.
At this rate with people running the firm like this, it’d be mine in no time.
