[night has fallen once again on Eos, and one man who has spent far too much time listening to voices in the dark depths of the forest has finally emerged from the tree-line. amazingly, he looks slightly more put together than he has in past days. his tie is straight, tightened snugly in place, and his shirt tails are tucked neatly into his suit

[grins] Another plan, Doctor? Who will you "save" with this one?

[bit_impossible]

[he doesn't bother with false pretences for this person]

Everyone. I'm the Doctor--it's what I do.

Oliver is up for anything the Doctor wants to throw at him

[oliverplus]

Oh? He's still waiting for you to keep your promise, you know.

[bit_impossible]

Is he?

Well, I guess I should start with you first then. Do what I should have done the other day.

[oliverplus]

[raises an eyebrow, smirking] And what's that?

[bit_impossible]

Ohh, that'd be spoiling the surprise. [quietly he jogs through the forest, tracking oliver down]

[oliverplus]

[laughs] As long as you can be less of a coward this time, Doctor.

[bit_impossible]

You were the one screaming my name, if I recall correctly.

[oliverplus]

Only because I thought you'd enjoy hearing his pain at your hands.

[bit_impossible]

Ohhhhh, I'm sure you got off to it, though. Didn't you, you twisted little parasite?

[oliverplus]

The victims are only half the fun. Why do you think I went for this host again? He has such high expectations for himself. It makes him easy to break.

[bit_impossible]

I'd say you have no originality, but that's me.

[he lets his footsteps fall on some broken twigs on the ground, purposefully alerting oliver to his presence.]

[oliverplus]

Ohh, Doctor, I'd have thought you of all people knew that breaking the human psyche is an art.

[chooses not to comment on the Doctor's approach, but glances around, trying to use his voice to determine where he's coming from]

[he grins from his position, watching oliver looking around. stealthily, he sets off through the trees to approach the young man while his back is turned. silently he instructs his sphere to take off in the opposite direction and has it play a message he recorded earlier:]

"All right, I'd say it's time for Round Two, wouldn't you agree?"

[oliverplus]

[turns quickly at the sound of the Doctor's voice, still grinning but guarded now; he is holding a knife in his right hand] I'm ready when you're ready to stop hiding, Doctor.

[as oliver turns towards his sphere, he breaks out of the tree-line and runs at the young man, aiming to tackle him to the ground while his back is turned. he doesn't notice the knife.]
