Blue Raspberry

Blue raspberry is a naturally-occurring flavor in the category of "slushies" only.  It occurs in nature as a thick, syrupy liquid that freezes into a delightfully-fluffy mixture (when processed in an ICEE machine) and wells up out of secret springs in the earth, mostly in Iceland.  The Vikings believed it to be some kind of divine nectar and fed it to berserkers before battle (at the time unaware of it's incredibly-high quantity of sugars).

Some studies have questioned the curious reaction human beings have upon consuming or even touching the blue raspberry sap--that is, the recoloring of pigments in the flesh.  Some may think it is just a stain that wears off eventually, but that is not the case; scientists in Belgium confirmed just last year that the blue raspberry sap actually mutates cells in human skin, leaching color away and replacing it with a pale blue or dead white color.  Though most believe it is safe and even beneficial for the human body to consume while in  a frozen state, when used to flavor anything else (like Jolly Ranchers), it seems to be a potential carcinogen.

This is why I, damn it all, can't get a tan no matter how hard I try and will likely end up with skin cancer.

blue raspberry flavor, what is is shit?, bullshit, yellow no. 5
