Hey, my birthday is in like less than an hour....why not do a meme? XD
In a time when it's more convenient and practical to download singles and the greater hits, music lovers still have a soft spot - an admiration - for the album. Choose 5 of your favorite albums. They can be 5 of your all-time favorites, 5 you happen to be enjoying at the moment, or a combination of both. List 5 songs, the ones you happen to think are the highlights, the reasons these albums stand out. Then tag 5 people and ask them to do the same.
This should be fun, especially considering that I have a very little collection of albums considering I've been downloading things since like... I was 12 so yeah...

1.) Wicked the Musical OST
a) Defying Gravity - I love the feeling of freedom this song gives
b) For Good - Best friendship song ever, it's really deep and reflective
c) No Good Deed - It's a powerful song indeed, I like to sing along when I'm angry XD
d) Wonderful - A fun song I have to admit, I also like how it was tempting to Elphaba but she won through anyway :D
e) I'm Not That Girl - Sadly this song reminds me of...you-know; but I like it anyway. Besides Elphaba ended up getting her man anyway...
Ok, Wicked soundtrack was pure awesome; you all know it. I really want to see it someday...
2.) August Rush OST
a) August's Rhapsody - I love how it blended the normal sounds of the city with a rhythm and song, it was so cool.
b) Main Title - "I believe in music the way some people believe in fairy tales." Hey, you can think that's corny if you want, I think its an awesome quote.
c) Ritual Dance
d) Bari Improv
e) Dueling Guitars
This was the most recent thing I downloaded. I have yet to see this movie but I knew the soundtrack would be very promising. I want to see it so badly!!!!! I love the blend between classical and new age. This is a very refreshing soundtrack indeed! (Sorry I lack video links, I'm scared of spoilers

c) Sameta Coffee - My absolute FAVORITE! It's like the third favorite j-pop song in my ultimate list! It only comes under 'Wings' and 'Tokyo Nights' (both by Utada Hikaru)

e) Misty Rain - Beautiful, beautiful song. Nothing more can be said actually. "Everybody wants to be happy... Tell me the way a misty rain... Tell me... Kiss me... Touch me..." GUH...@.@
Shunichi Miyamoto is DEFINITELY one of the most talented pianists/singers in Japan today. He plays all of these complex pieces AND sings with them. His voice is so smooth and his playing is so...velvet it'll make you melt.
4.) Utada Hikaru - Ultra Blue
a) Wings - My *all time* FAVORITE j-pop song. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
b) Passion - I love the piano version of this song. The highs and lows (yeah, you all can tell how much I know about music...) remind me of how many things life can throw at you and how you can still walk away strong.
c) Blue - I made this AMV ^^
d) Nichiyo no Asa
e) Colors
I love Utada Hikaru. I downloaded this soundtrack at a rough time in my life and this album reminds me of how I rose though it. This soundtrack is very beautiful and its one I never tire of. I end up running back to this soundtrack a lot!
5.) House MD The Soundtrack: Season 2
a) Allemande - (Hugh Laurie) What can I say, it's Hugh Laurie's playing! But besides that... Everytime I find Bach's Allemande French Suite (I pulled all that from memory, I shall not be held liable if it's inaccurate) its always played so quickly, but HL's playing is slow and reflective. I think its better that way (now if only it didn't have that pesky note at the end...)
b) Desire
c) Honky Tonk Woman - For the vain reason that this was the song playing when Wilson had to move in with House (sad I know)
d) My Journey to the Sky - House: "...but we're ok?" Wilson: "House you are... As God made you. *smile*" House: (after Wilson's not looking) *smile*
e) Hymn to Freedom - HL played this too, hee!
I think I can truly admit that House is my official fandom. I just got into it (in fact I didn't even KNOW OF ITS EXISTANCE until just last August), but so much of my life has changed due to it. So this album reminds me of how much my life has changed, it marks the start of my college life as well. :D (BTW, I REALLY wish I could put up the clips I wanted to with these songs but since YouTube started freakin' BANNING every House vid in sight, there aren't many left D:)
Well, that's about it; and hey look! It's already past midnight! Woo! I'm now 19!
