so i've been obsessed with thrice's alchemy index since ii got home. earth is my favorite. one of the first songs that shuffled into my headphones on the way to poland (my first eurotrip out of czech) was 'red sky' from vhiessu. that cd became my soundtrack over there. them and simon/garfunkel and city/colour. thrice is from irvine, i was going to their local shows at mariners church when i was 13. its cool to have a band that grew up with you.
these cds bring me back to my life just a few weeks ago. it sometimes feels like a dream to have had the opportunity to see and experience so much. my heart is back here at home, i'm very happy, but sometimes my mind still gets lost far, far away.
