Long over due update
Yesterday evening I phoned the guy I'm going on a date with next Saturday (that's definite now). Well if he gives me his phone number he can expect me to call! I was very curious what he sounded like and it turned out he was too. His voice sounded very pleasant and he laughed a lot and it was a nice conversation. It only makes me look forward to meeting him even more.
Monday's a public holiday here in the Netherlands (we have a second Easter day and Christmas day to compensate for our lack of public holidays) and I decided to use that little bit of extra time to start painting again. Somehow I'm mostly painting and drawing during the summer time. I'm going to post pictures of the process, some of you might be interested to see how it develops. It's a bitch to paint, very detailed (the most detailed painting ever for me) but it's going to look real good in the end.
I'm now trying to incorporate a guestbook on the Aevericka website, which is a total bitch. I don't want an outside link to a free guestbook and I'd like to make it fit the website's overall theme. But I think I'm starting to get the hang of it, so hopefully I'll be able to upload something soon.
Ginny's mail is being held up again. The girl at the Aileen forum got a card from a worried Ginny asked whether she was okay while she sent a letter to Ginny 2 weeks ago. So the mailroom's being a total pain in the ass again. Hell, if they can't find enough people to read all the letters they should give them e-mail access and screen it before things are sent in or out. I'm sure they can filter it, it's not like the US government doesn't know how to spy on people. Pathetic losers. They make me wanna puke.
