Bookshelf Photo Meme
Sorry for spamming y'all with memes.
I didn't want to start a flickr account just in order to do this.
This is my Medieval/Ren shelf. A lot of these books are crossover literature/academic books. Most of them have something to do with my dissertation. Oh, and this is my office. I didn't take a pic of the books on my desk because said desk is an absolute catastrophe at the moment. Notice the "nunchuck" on the wall; that was given to me by the lovely aisling_door . And the Beeker finger puppet on the second shelf from the top came from akashiver .
This is the bottom of that shelf. It's a little hard to get at with the desk being so close, but the bottom shelf is all Shakespeare stuff anyway, which means I don't have to reference it as often. You can probably see my Mary, Queen of Scots collection on the left of the shelf.
The other bookshelf in my office. The first shelf is obviously photo albums. The second one is filled with classic works of literary criticism, the third with composition, media and logic textbooks, and the bottom shelf is my "odd shelf". I seem to have amassed a wee collection of titles dealing with domesticity. (don't laugh too hard)
This is one of the smaller bookcases. It's in my bedroom. These are virtually all children's books, and several of them have been with me since my childhood. The pictures are my granny and one of me and my gramps.
The other shelf in my bedroom holds my current to be read pile (along with one or two that I have read but haven't moved). The second shelf is my Alan Rickman movies (Oh, come on, if you know me at all, you know I'm a Rickmaniac). The third shelf is magazines and overflow from the children's shelf. And the teddy bear has been with me since I was born.
These are the two shelves in my hallway. I couldn't get a good shot, because there's not enough room to back up. I was already in my bedroom taking this. The little figure on the top shelf is a crocheted Grim Reaper that I made from a pattern in Creepy Cute Crochet. Highly recommend it.
This is the pile that's waiting for me to get off the internet and shelve them. XD
