Today I made wooden signs for my shire. For some reason people laughed at my technique. But it worked. :)

Red silk goller
As always I can't wait when I get a notion to sew.
I'd bought 1 metre of a really pretty patterned silk several months ago and I decided that I'd make a silk goller of the vest-like type and an apron from it.
I've finished the goller now. Well, I need to add a hook and eye in the bottom of it and it's really done.

AS50 challenge: item 2.1
(I had meant to dye tonight but I'm totally knackered after work so instead I'll just sit still and type before I head into bed.)
This is my second (almost) item for the AS50 challenge, to recreate 50 authentic dyeing recipes.
