Hello, beautiful people,
up until now I've been pretty good at handling some side effects, but it feels lately like they're getting worse. I'm on 1000mg of Depakote, which I've been swallowing for a few months now, and 100mg of Wellbutrin, which I haven't even been on for a month yet.
I'm experiencing some really bad shaking lately. Right now I feel like I'm vibrating a little. My hands are very trembly, and occasionally my arms and legs will twitch, too, kind of like when a doctor is testing your reflexes. NOT fun. Even worse is my eyes will shake very frequently, especially if I am watching TV, reading, or using the computer. You know, when your eyes will shake rapidly from side to side? Shaking was noticeable on the Dep, but it's gotten worse since the addition of Wellbutrin, and they eye thing is new.
Anyone have similar experiences? Is there anything that can be done to make it a little less bad?
I didn't experience much hair loss on the Dep before, either, but the past week or so, my hair has been coming out in clumps. I checked the community tags and selenium/zinc is recommended, so I might try that (unless you have better ideas?)
Finally, I've been noticing something else weird, which is that I'll do incredibly stupid little things and not realize it, like going to hang up a jacket but opening the fridge instead, and constantly losing items I use every day and keep in the same spot. I'll also have a hard time getting through a long explanation or story when I'm speaking... I keep getting lost for words halfway through. Or, I'll replace words with other words that make no sense, but speak the sentence as if I'm saying the correct things. This happens a lot when I'm typing. I feel like these drugs are literally frying my brain. Is this just me, or does anyone else get this stupid on meds?
My eyes did that shakey thing 4 times while writing this, for the record. It's pretty bad.
