Stopping Citalopram/Celexa
I am stopping citalopram after being on it for a few years because my psychiatrist thinks it might be whats causing my current mania. I have been tapering down, this week I'm on 10mg and next week 0!
Has anyone had any withdrawal symptoms when stopping citalopram/celexa?
Also, since I've been on it I've had trouble losing weight. Over the past few years I've gained about 20 lbs, but I also was in college. Even though I work out and eat properly I have never been able to lose weight on celexa. I'm hoping that once I'm off of it, I'll be able to lose some weight finally.
Any input you'd have would be greatly appreciated!
