Sadly, I know how you feel. About a year ago we had to put down my cat- he wasn't quite as old (about 13 years), but he also had a urinal blockage which caused him to lose a lot of weight until he was very thin and weak. He was quite literally my cat too, because he would always act super-friendly around me and jump up on the corner of my bed and just wait there for me to go into my room to pet him. He also 'talked back' when you meowed to him<3. I'm so thankful my dad asked me if I wanted to go with him to the vet so I could comfort him in his last moments. I missed the next day of school and felt out of it for a while a after that, so don't feel bad at all, okay?

Now that that's said, I think puppy!Matt/bunny!Matt is my new OTP. SO CUTE ASD;JGHALJKS. And I like how bunny!Matt has just his vest on, so hawt. I say Matt should follow Mello's style advice and do this more often. :3 And I agree, the lack of Matt/Matt out there is simply appalling.

;~; Ahh, I hate it when pets get sick...I wonder if cats just...have problems with that sort of thing? Marbles got really thin too, and it was awful because she'd always been the fat cat, you know? Wow, your cat sounds so cute, I'm sorry to hear about him :( My mom asked if I wanted to go too, but I don't think I would be holding up even as well as I am if I'd gone. Instead I made her promise to hold her and talk to her and say goodbye for me, and apparently at one point Marbles put her paw on my mom's shoulder and said "meeh" like she understood, and that visual alone makes me want to start bawling. Animals can really get under your skin, can't they? *sigh*

Same, Whiskers (I named him when I was four ^^;) had been chubby as well before he started to get sick. Gosh, I really hope it's not some tendancy cats have, that would be horrible. :(

Oh my god, I'm so sorry to hear about your cat. I feel ya - none of ours have died yet, but I'd be devastated if they did. You get way more attached to pets than people who don't own them think. =S

Oh I know--even some people who DO own them don't seem to understand. We've had a lot of people ask why we hadn't put her down yet, just because she was old! WTF?! Since she was ill and hurting, yes, but just because she's OLD?! D: (We also have a 17-year-old toy poodle people have also questioned, good lord he's in fine health.)

Hee, I hope to make Matt/Matt a series, eventually pairing up each version xD (That up there is anime!Matt and game!Matt btw, after I color them.)

aw, sweetheart. i'm really sorry to hear about marbles ; losing a cat is always tough. reading everything you wrote just now actually brought tears in my eyes, too- because i can't imagine what i'd do - what i'll have to do, rather - once my too furballs are gone. regardless, it sounds like she had a nice life with you, and that you loved her a great deal. and that right there is the best any cat could hope for, especially if you say that she was on the streets before you got her. so hang in there, hun. ♥

taking a semester off isn't a bad idea, either. if you don't think you can handle school right now, then why bother? after my (forced) semester off, i'm almost relieved that i took it - it gave me time to figure myself out and to think things over.

Ahh, thank you ♥ I've only lost one pet before, and at the time I only had him for two years so this time it's even worse. Ahh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you sad ;_; But...yeah...she seemed really happy, especially considering she used to be such a tough cat back in the day. She's the reason I even start to consider myself a cat person, before I didn't like them much at all. Now I love them to pieces, haha. We tried to care for her as long as we could. Gah you're such a sweetheart, thank you so much for that--you made me feel better ♥

I wanted to do that from the beginning, but no one else agreed so I made myself go. Now I'm so much more content than I would be otherwise, and being able to focus on things I consider more important than school is so nice. Hopefully this time off will help me too~

I'm so sorry that your awesome kitty is gone! To lose a lovely pet is always SOO hard ;_; I already lost many pets and if my dog's gonna die, oh wow... I would cry so fucking hard *don't wanna think about it* ;_;
