Being Alive: Day 5 - Being late
So, I'm a sappy sucker. But I just couldn't resist when this morning as I'm headed out the door, and gabe in his sleepy weepy morning tone asks if he can ride into work with me.

First off, it's a treat for him to even get up the same time I do, and extra fun to make the morning commute feel more like play. So, yes... I waited for him to get ready.
So the ride started off already a little late, and then we didn't really catch many breaks. A train passed through, delaying us another 7 minutes....red lights, etc.
But that's not really important, you can skip lunch to make up the time. But it was a lot of fun. It was cool and foggy outside, which made the waterfront mysterious. I got to show off my gem of a route, going along the esplanade.

update to yesterday's failed attempt,
The trip to the monte carol didn't satisfy me. So I decided to make a luxurious dinner. and oh it was so good. I made these crab cakes. And gabe made pan friend oysters. I'm drewling just thinking about them.
