Bat for Lashes, the pseudonym of Singer " Natasha Khan " aged 29 Years Old, has infected my music archives with no intention from myself to do anything about it but let her take control. Natasha, brings things that are completely new aswell as historical elements that have been in my music heart for quite a long time. Two Suns, is a loosely concept piece about duality - The Two individuals locked in romance and the bipolar behavioral patterns Natasha found herself succumbing, as she rose within pop's firmament. Natasha feels like the modern day Kate Bush, Stevie Nicks with all the right ways to make her music sounds the ways she wants it to be it comes with Synthesized sound turned heavily exotic , cosmic, carnal, earthy and ultimately classy with sophisticated songcraft aswell as its harrowing and complex emotional landscape. Most of the songs on the album were written in New York where she was living her her boyfriend at the time. Living in a hedonistic Lifestyle By night, she hit the town with a Blonde Wig. She gave herself a more outrageous self name, "Pearl" putting a difference between herself and her alter ego.
Bat for Lashes has been complimented by Thom Yorke and M.I.A. aswell as being the opening Act for Radiohead during their 2008 Tour, Ultimately she is Pure, Talented, Artistic, Exceptional and One of the Few Artists out there i see alot of myself within.
