Vet Visit
This was supposed to have posted on Oct. 25, but for some reason, it didn't
go through to Live Journal. Rather than rewrite it, or add, I'm just
putting this at the beginning, and trying again.
Well, Homecoming Week is finally over at school. I really don't think the
students were into it this year. One of them commented to me that this
homecoming was "boring, sad to say, but boring". I must confess that I just
wasn't into it this year, either.
The weather yesterday seemed to set everybody in a dreary mood. It
was cold and misty. I didn't know if they'd be able to have the parade or
not...and I haven't heard if they did. I'm excited, though, because they
won the football game last night--big win! This is the first homecoming
game they won for homecoming, since I've been at Georgiana.
I took a personal halfdand took Kitty to the vet. She is healthy,
but she does need a dental cleaning, and the little lump on her back can be
removed at the same time. The vet said that instead of it being an ingrown
hair, like they had first thought, it was an ingrown gland. I don't know
why that would happen, but, it did. The Vet also recommended Rawhide
instead of Nylabones, and he seemed really against Nylabones. I'm not sure
how I feel about all of that.
I guess that's about it for this entry, except to say I have my Dell back
from the shop for the third time, and we'll just have to see if it really
works. I'm not convinced it will.
