Observations
I often vent on this media about how I dislike the general representation of humanity. I have been watching the past few days and think that it is more a factor that there is actually a rather small group who are true jerks out there. Not the multitude that I originally thought.
In general, if you bother to get to know someone, they tend to be pretty good people. I.e. if you can do anything to stand out from the masses, you can pretty much get along with most people to some extent.
I notice that it seems to only be about 1 out of 10 people who manage to put me into a bad mood. The rest I either like, or am indifferent towards. Ok, the majority I am indifferent towards, but that is something I can easily cope with.
So these 1 in 10 people I am convinced are agents of whatever dark forces attempt to steer us away from all that is good. They are the ones who weave in and out of traffic. They are the ones who will manipulate you just to get ahead in things. They are the ones who tend to break our hearts. I am going to go with the assumption though that they are few, and hope for the best in humanity still.
Of course, I could just be insane right now from studying for finals and trying to get some work lined up over the summer...
