Synopsis: Rod learned that the 'Oh, NOTHING' Lynn was not telling him was bothering her was hiss wearing light colors after Labor Day.

Summary: Given that lab coats are usually light colors, this seemed pointless then and now.

we notice not much change. There's not much change in John either as he thinks that Elly's attempts to make him at least look as if he has sense:

1. The finger in the air, closed eyes pose. Again.

2. John goes to work in an office, and you are a SAHM, Elly. He doesn't need tips on how to dress for the workplace from YOU.

3. Hmm, I seem to remember a woman in this strip being portrayed as EVIL for "trying to change" her husband by criticizing his clothing. I'm sure I'm misremembering, though, because that would be hypocritical, right?

1) Lynn doesn't have the least idea how ridiculous that made her look. When Friz Freleng designed Sylvester, he gave him that pose to point out that the tomcat with the big, slobbery voithe wath a baththoon and a maroon (buffoon and moron).

2) Nobody is going to see his socks anyway because he wears scrubs. She doesn't realize this because she's an idiot.

3) Things are only wrong if someone Elly doesn't like does them. This is why Mira is a jerk: she wants all the same things Elly does but wants them for herself.

Sylvester is a lot more likeable than Elly. I always felt sorry for him.

if I didn't know better I'd swear those cartoons were made by vegetarians. They all revolve around predators not eating.

That, or chasing down something wildly inappropriate. It got to the point that a cartoon cat named Mr Jinx stood around complaining because the meeses he hates to pieces pointed a kangaroo at him in the belief that he was too stupid to know the difference.

so Hanna Barbara ripped off those Warner Brothers cartoons with Sylvester and his kid and that kangaroo?

now that I think of it, I don't remember Sylvester's kid or the kangaroo having names....

4) This reminds me of an annoying habit Lynn has:

1) Nag someone about changing their appearance.

2) Dismiss them as being weak when they give in.

3) ????????

4) PROFIT!

and an AAAACKK ripped off from the only comic strip that has even worse internalized sexism....
