Craaaap. It just cost me $22 to send Ramona her Christmas present. It didn't even weigh ONE kilo! And it's not even guaranteed to arrive in Germany before Christmas. Fucking rip off.. I sure hope she gets it OK. It's so damn hot. I still want to see Harry Potter again ( Read more... )

I lurve chistmas, because it's a time of happiness, the good parts of my family (I don't really hate Ell as much as I make out I do) and it's just a day to celebrate being alive and Australian, and not, y'know, dead, enslaved or Afghani. ;) Glenn or Drew'll get me tickets for U2, but I've never really been their greatest fan, and in many ways I agree with Rob Gordons assertation that they will be the first against the wall when the great musical revolution comes about. Still, it'll be grand. Jesus, I need to get Peter a present. Gulp. What the heck should I get the bastard? Another bucket full of money down the drain ;). But, on the plus side, there's a vacany at the local Blockbuster and I'm a man on a mission. XD

Yeah... the family part is OK until they start bitching, because various members of my family don't get along. I don't think it's really about celebrating being Australian, is it? I guess you could throw that in, though. U2 will be sooo great! Peter was hot.. get him a mirror. Working at a movie place seems cool. My friend's sister does. We often visit her in our PJ's.

It's not being Australian per se - it's about not being persecuted and dead. =D Not fun at ALL. *jealousy about Peter* :P LOL about the movie place. 5 free rentals a week. XD

A selkie is sort of like a were-seal - a European (maybe Irish/Scottish?) legend about people who can turn into seals. =)
