The Stainless Steel Rat Saves the World
This is really awesome,
The Lifted Brow runs a
Fake Bookshelf Competition. Where you can submit a creative piece inspired by one of the book titles. You can make a song or a doodle or write a story and win lots of prices. Looks like fun! :)
Also, I have drawn. Which is already mentionable in on itself, as I'm drawing way too less these days. That's what I liked about the first semester at University, that I had to draw for several projects. Anyway, on the train ride to Darmstadt yesterday I've drawn in a style I haven't drawn in in years and I have the hardest time remembering why. Because FUN! This was so much fun to draw. Sadly, colouring it made it fugly again. Whatever. I made two pieces, but I've only scanned this one...

I had something more to talk about. Of course I can't remember it.
Oh, but I have finally seen the BBC version of Pride & Prejudice. I thought I was the last person on earth to see it! +lol+
For years I was totally against watching it, I was like "Blearghs, romantic romance for women! With drama and kitsch! Totally not my style, yooo!". But for some reason when I stumbled upon it on tv when I was at my mother's, I was in the mood for exactly that. Imagine my surprise when this thing turned out to be completely different from what I expected. But it just made it so much better. I loved it sooooo much. And I sat through all 4 hours of it (the thing itself was about 5 hours, but I missed most of the first hour). And it was pay-tv, so no commercials. xD Sadly, it was dubbed in German, but the dubbing seemed well done to me. So even though I missed the sound of the language, it didn't feel like I was watching something completely different (which is often the case with dubbing on German tv). In conclusion: Mr. Darcy!!! \o/
