I think I need to stop looking up apartments in Charleston and start looking up apartments in Canada.

If PIPA passes, would that mean Americans would be blocked from sites like MegaUpload? That what it sounds like.

Charleston is a beautiful city, visited there, for the first time, in September. I find that a lot of the city is over-priced so you might do better on one of the smaller islands. Although, I hear Canada is nice and you don't have to deal with the wishy-washy American government :)

MegaUpload would be one of the very many sites that would be shut down. THIS article has a very basic breakdown of PIPA and SOPA ( ... )

You don't read my posts? My university is in Charleston, Illinois and I'm needing to get out of the dorms, so am looking for apartments.

If either of these gets passed, things are going to get very sucky around here.

I'm so, so sorry! Honestly, I haven't been reading many pages lately; I haven't had the time. I've either been on mine to rant or post a quick little thing and that's about it. I've only recently, in the past day or two, started to skim my pages a bit, and your post caught my eye. I hadn't realized that there was more than one Charleston, which I probably should have put a bit more thought into. Once again, I'm sorry.

There's actually quite a few Charlestons. There's SC, which you were talking about, Massachusetts, and our humble little abode.

I wrote a couple of days ago about how I need to get out of these dorms, because so much bullshit is going on and it's driving me mad.

Now that you mention it, I vaguely remember you talking about the noise and moving your bed. I've never lived in a dorm, but I've heard plenty about life there. I hope you're able to find an apartment and be able to have peace of mind.
