Shangri-la
Dear Everyone and Their Mothers,
Tomorrow afternoon (Sat, Sept 1st) there is a righteously large and rocking party going down in and around 58 Gallery in Jersey City, at 58 Coles St. There will be bands, DJs, grilled food, hot dancers, booze and merriment. The event, Shangri-La is a benefit for the Grace Church Homeless Breakfast Program, and there is suggested donation of $10. Booze is available for donations, but BYOB is totally cool. It's an all day event, with music starting at 2pm. I do believe The Meltdowns are playing around 8:30, and you should definitely come early enough to see Sophelia, American Watercolor Movement's side project. The Gay Blades are playing, too!
