His mother was his father's niece, and his grandmother was also his aunt.

I had a senior moment today. When I was feeding the birds this morning I took the empty glass bowl thing from the oriole feeder in back and brought it into the garage to eventually bring inside when I finished up. Well, I set it on my back bumper and forgot about it. Not totally. I remembered around 9 AM when I was in the house, but I never went out there and grabbed it.

I ran to the post office on lunch to mail the Sparrow's broken wedding ring back to get a replacement and the bowl was still back there. Not sure where, but it fell off at some point. If I wasn't so lazy I'd walk to the end of the driveway and see if it came off with that first turn. The real stinker is that it is a very specific size little bowl that fits into the feeder's metal holder. Who knows if I'll be able to find a replacement.

This isn't the first time I've done this. I've put gloves, I think a padlock, various other things on the back bumper or spare tire and forgotten. Some of them actually made the whole trip out and back without falling off. Oh, the one was a set of keys my mom had given me. They somehow stayed on all the way home from her house.

Today was completely uneventful otherwise. I did not make any efforts at work. I am having that anxiety I get when I am doing nothing and know I should be trying to do something.

The trailer for 'Gladiator 2' came out today. It looks like a sad rehashing of the original, great film. Unfortunately, the put some god awful rap song in the trailer that sounds like it may have been made specifically for the movie/trailer. Which also seemed like that sort of liberal racism, because Denzel Washington features heavily in the trailer. It is possible to cast a black actor in a movie without pandering you know.

It seems like there's also some retconning going on. The main character is the son of Commodus's sister in the first movie, all grown up. But the trailer now says this kid didn't know who his parents were. Even though his mother was well established in said first film. All the fight sequences looked like they were copying off the first movie. And I have no doubt there will be some DEI and wokeness in the film, since Ridley Scott's 'Alien: Covenant' had elements of it several years back. Not to mention that movie was horrendous. Scott should really just retire. But, I suppose this cash grab is for his wife or kids when he dies.

I was so tired all day. I slept okay but I know my stomach was gurgling and digesting the burger I had for dinner last night. I ended up moving to the couch around 2:30 or so and passed out for an hour. Am I reaching the age where I need to take naps?

I mentioned the Sparrow's older brother yesterday. The monstrosity that looks identical to Charles II, an infamous Spanish incest king. Well, I guess last night he started texting this girl the Sparrow and his family knows that lives around here. She was at that baby's birthday party we went to a couple Fridays ago, the sister of the mother of that baby. She is married, but they are living apart because her husband is an abusive asshole and there are concerns he might be abusing one or more of the five kids. BUT, she is in therapy herself to try to "work things out", and she very clearly is under his spell and won't leave him. And she also seems unconcerned about the kids and the supposed abuse. That's a whole other story.

After midnight last night (more so after 2:30 AM), when he got off of work, the Troglodyte started messaging this woman saying he couldn't sleep and was "in a weird mood". Then texted asking if he could ask her "an honest question". He also attempted to call her. She did not respond to any of this. Then after 10 AM this morning he texted and "apologized" for his "weird mood" last night. An hour after that she did finally respond back asking if he was drunk.

He responded "What do you mean?" and "What if I was?" with a funny face emoji. Then asked "What did you think I was going to ask you?"...

She replied back that it seemed he must be (drunk) for texting and calling at such an hour. He then said he was up because of his work schedule. To which she replied she didn't want to "disrespect your wife by replying back at such an hour". That the entire exchange "crossed a line". He responded "Ok" and the a second text, "Sorry".

This guy is a total creep. Personally, I think his wife, even if she is awful, should know about him doing this. Unfortunately, I don't have her number to send her the screencaps of the texts that the Sparrow showed me. And probably wisely, he doesn't want to give me the number because he knows doing such a thing would cause a lot of drama for a lot of people.

I don't even know to what extent he has ever talked to this woman before this. She went to school around the time the Sparrow and the BIL did, while the Troglodyte is ten years older than all of them. He is so disgusting and he is exactly like their father. I did ask the Sparrow, if someone knew his dad had been cheating on his mom all those years, wouldn't he have wanted someone to say something. To which he replied "Probably".

His brother is worse than my sister I think, but I'd love to see both of them face consequences for their behaviors. The Sparrow says that will just happen naturally with time. I wouldn't mind assisting Time a little bit. I told the Sicilian the story and said it'd be funny to find their address and send her a letter with printouts of the texts and a note made from cut out magazine letters. We were both chuckling at the idea.

The fact he was messaging this woman does make me wonder if he was laying the groundwork for coming up here at some point. My gut tells me when he's run out of the goodwill of the people he's freeloading with in Ohio, he may head in this direction. There's no way he can be avoided forever. At some funeral or something we're all going to have to see him. What an awful day that will be. Not because of the death, but because of him.
