The Sound And The Fury
I remembered as I was showering just now that I never put down my Halloween playlist for 2023 for posterity. It feels like it's been a year since Halloween, but it's not even a month till tomorrow. My hair is growing back already, though the sides seem to grow twice as fast as the top. It was fun being bald, and easy as hell not having to comb my hair.
I think I'll always associate Halloween of 2023 with seeing the rerelease of 'The Exorcist'. Even after all these weeks, I still find myself thinking on the film in ways I'd never done before. I never did buy that ultimate edition Bluray they released, and now it looks like it is already no longer available. There's a whole entry in my end revolving around manufactured scarcity and how stupid corporations are for choosing not to make money off of willing customers, and that money eventually goes to collectors and folks who only ever paid regular price for whatever the item was.
Why would a business refuse the opportunity to make money??
