I picked up the Scissor Sisters DVD and it is one of the best purchases of my life. It is packed with all the energy you get from their lives shows plus awesome extra footage about the band and videos. They give their fans such a great sense of appreciation.
Seeing the show in Brighton made Chicago’s look boring. People here have something stuck up their ass. The wildest thing we had was that one bartender from Sidetrack dressed in a fuzzy muppet jacket and everyone was pointing and giggling. Is it really that unhip here?
Even the menus on the DVD are awesome. It’s rare to be impressed right off just by menus. They are the embodiment of my dormant creative soul. And, after seeing watching it all, I really like Ana Matronic now so much more than I ever thought I could.
I fell asleep at 7:30 last night, managed to get my ass up and did my laundry this morning. I’ve barely let go of my new phone for two days now. It’s really rather pathetic. Spent more useless money at Best Buy (though, the Scissor Sisters are hardly a useless investment). Wanted to go around to a few thrift places but it was just too cold out. I wasn’t in the mood.
I also got some Aqua Teen Hunger Force which I think will get me through the next hour. Not really in the mood to go out tonight either. This cold just makes a homebody out of a person.
I need stamps. I need food. I need a decorator.
