Granby Colorado is just a few miles from the Snow Mountain Ranch we stayed at for the Denver Rocky Mountain Rainbeaus flyin. I'm so glad it was the first weekend and not the second weekend of October we were there!

Oct 1-2 high temps 78 and 75 dry and clear

Oct 8-9 high temps 34 and 37 with snow

Whew!

It was hard to keep up with the energy of the four instructors for the first StarHoppers Astronomy for Adults weekend! Of course, some of that was exascerbated by having gone with 4 of our friends and having way too much fun dishing, laughing, eating and drinking. ...that Danny is coming with me on this trip to Vancouver. Here we sit at the ABQ airport, a much less crowded airport than I was anticipating. 2890 miles later, we're home.  All miles driven in ONE time zone!  My trusty 2004 Saturn Vue performed flawlessly!

Got back about 3pm yesterday.  Except for mowing the overgrown grass, messing with the pool a bit, reading through some mail, Danny and I just collapsed in a heap and caught up on TV for the evening.

Sometime around Sunday morning, my brain completely shorted out...flight to LAX, 3 days of Callerlab, 2 days of visiting friends in LA area,

the flight back home, an afternoon and morning of prep for the 25th anniversary day, hosting 4 guys from out of town...

BOOM!

There are zen moments in life though. We arrived home on Friday to this...
