Hey, what's in New York? Me!
-We're leaving Sunday to visit Danielle's sister in the NYC. Brooklyn, in fact. We'll stay a couple or three days, then drive back to the Dirty. I have no idea what we are doing when we get there. Probably something where I'm tagging along and they are doing sister things. I hope they don't make me hold their purses...
-Spent a good time full of drunken ass-hattery with a bunch of folks from work Saturday night. Ate a delicious basil and feta pizza-like affair. Played better pool than I thought I could. Made everyone laugh lots. Played some curious alteration of Jenga wherein you write various commands on the blocks, and have to do what they say when you pull them out. A mervelous idea. Well-spent evening, out and in. It was good.
-It was even better next morning, when Crystal showed up for work so hung over that she turned the store over to me a week before she'd intended. I was very smooth yesterday. Pulled the day off with ease, solved problems myself... Bah, this 'manager' stuff is easy. No, really, it is. They shoulda promoted me sooner. Would've saved them a lot of problems. Several people are impressed with how cleanly I've taken over my duties.
-Fina is growing quickly. I keep demanding we take pictures. We keep putting it off. I am forcing the issue tomorrow. Grr, must have kitten pictures. Meanwhile, she and Witty are getting along well, aside from the fact that when Witty wants to play, she pretty much gets mauled. Some cats are very tolerant of kitten-pounces. Witty just assumes they are invites to tussle. Hey, she asks for them...
-For now, work is had me tired. I am going to probably spend today and/or tomorrow sleeping, and maybe calling some people to bitch about where my money at. I'm OWED, bitches. From a couple of places, too.
