So... I've been watching the show God's Warriors on CNN. Tonight is on Christian fundamentalists here in the US. *bangs head on wall* I love what former-President Jimmy Carter said, "The problem with Christian fundamentalists is that they can't admit that they're wrong, because then, God would be wrong." How fucking true! How do people have such audacity to claim to speak the will of God, to know the Will of God? If God is something completely alien and foreign to us, then how can ANYONE have any incling of what it's will is of the world? So they take the voice of God as their own. They begin to speak AS God. To bad "God" can only speak in silence. In fact... God CANNOT speak, thus it is the silence that is his speech.
My stomach is turning in knots as I listen to this... How these Christians are working towards bring religion back into the government! If you want religion back in government, well, have fun in the Dark Ages, but I know I am going to fight this with all my strength. Wanting to teach Creation next to Evolution? Hell, one person the journalist interviewed was a pastor who said that all the "modern evils" are because of evolution! WTF?!?! There exists no simple answer in a world that is as complex as ours! Great... another just called secularists illegal aliens... *sighs*
