I was getting dressed to go to NYC with Tony yesterday, when I plugged in my hair straightener. I left it on, but started to sew an inside pocket onto a coat I have. About half way through, I felt a slight burning sensation on my back, and thought I should move my straightener before it starts to burn. I put my hand back, grabbed the iron, and now I have a HUGE bubble on my thumb that was caused me an insane amount of pain for about 7 hours. But enough about that.
Ted Leo was great. He played two of my favorite songs, a few great familiar ones, ones that should've ended sooner, and ones that shouldn't have exsisted. But he was, in fact, GREAT live. His voice is just......amazing. And yeah, it was great.
Then Tony and I parked in the parking lot of a train station in Old Greenwich, or New Greenwich, or like, Bridgeport, I don't remember. I got like 4 hours of sleep, but I feel good.
So yeah, good weekend. peace.
