For anyone who's curious I'll be out of town this Wednesday through Saturday. I got a last minute offer from Magnificent Egos to demo miniatures painting at their booth at Origins.
It's actually been several years since I went to Origins. We used to do teh L5R tournies and then the MagiNation tournies out there. We stopped going when we realized that the only thing we were still going for was socializing and while that's fun and all GenCon works just as well for that. I've been saying for a while now that if I had a company to go with and pay for room and badge I'd show up. It should be fun.
