Mardi Gras and Hospitals.
Rosa is laying on the fold out with me right now and she is in a foul mood and keeps complaining about her stomach. boo whoo.... hahah. Just kidding. But she really is in a bad mood and won't tell me why. I thought we were friends. She just said that I could go fuck myself.
Oh well.
So Mardi Gras has been interesting because of the Outbreak of 2006. I had a great birthday that I don't remember... I might post pictures later but they are kind of embarrassing. HAHA! I saw about half of a parade even though I went to three I think... I really don't know. The past two nights I have spent in the hospital. Once for a pledge who wasn't feeling well and then last night I had to go to the hospital. I felt so sick all day and just laid in bed. Some of my friends called and made me go to the hospital - where I should have been anyways. I was there for a long time. I had to have a spinal tap - the second in my life. They also did some blood work. I have a very bad virus that I just have to wait out. I feel as though someone kicked my ass and left me on the street to die. But I feel better than I did yesterday. So I have missed almost all of Mardi Gras, but it's been okay. I got to spend a lot of quality time with some really great friends over the past few days. I had a great doctor and nurse. We talked for a long time andI learned more than I probably wanted to know about i.e my nurse met her boyfriend on eharmony.com which I though was sweet. Ryan took a picture of my spinal tap because I was curious about what it looked like in my drugged up state. I felt really loved because so many people were concerned about me, but I also hate making people worry about me. I will get better if it kills me. HAH!
So now I lay here... bored/tired/sick/hot
