Lottery ticket

Just thinking that Life and love is like a lottery ticket bought at the gas station. At first you're doubtful and joking around that "yeah I'm going to win the big one" Later that day you lay it down on the counter not really expecting it to pay off. sometimes you do feel like you shouldn't have even bought the damn ticket anyway. everybody feels like that after being dumped, it doesn't matter how "ok" it was/is and it doesn't matter if you were the dumpee or the dumped, and it doesn't even matter if it was mutual, which in this case it wasn't. There always comes a moment (sometimes many excruciating moments) when the thought crosses the mind, was it really worth it in the first place. I can totally feel you on that one. But just think of all the fun you had scratching the ticket or watching the lotto balls float around in the plastic bubble, you also wouldn't have missed that for the world. so i guess it all balances out. The main point is don't deny the truth and don't feel bad about it. It's ok to think that the ticket might not have been worth spit, but you enjoyed playing.
