Seemingly as though carried off by the silent breath of the night, people come and go.
An angel. A child. A mad king. All without word, they have left.
...I pity the world that king returns to. A nation ruled by such a man has nothing but pain and failure awaiting it in the future. So different our opinions were, I had trouble believing him to be a ruler of any sort. Yet, leaders we both were; are there similarities between us that I had missed? The thought nauseates me.
Yet, I am curious. The man reached his position through power, not dissimilar to myself. Could I be more similar to him than I would allow myself to admit?

I have another question to pose to you all. I had once asked you all what each of you thought made a good leader. My question now is:
Does a leader have a duty concerning his subordinates or subjects? If so, just what do you believe is that duty?
