house update
It's not going well. My mom met with a person who knows more about basements and foundation inspections and it's much worse than we thought. I don't quite understand exactly the problem, but the builders syster is screwed up at the house or they didn't do it right, or might not have down this procedure they say they do that is suppose to make this not happen. Whatever it is, my parents don't want the house. Are paying for the attorney with pathetic salaries (and my mom hasn't even started her new job and my dad doesn't like his). My sister and I have yet to get jobs either. And I don't even know if the builders will say too bad and hold us to the contract or what.
I can't even explain what I don't know, but it's not good. My mom and sister are looking for another apartment because the one we're in we're suppose to be out at the end of the month and they've already rented to people after, so now they are looking at a one bedroom apartment for four of us. And we're returning the stuff we bought for the new house - fortunately it wasn't as much as it could have been.
My dad cried (and he's not a crier) when my mom told him how bad it was, my mom then cried, and of course so did I. I cannot believe this is happening. It sucks.
